water research and supply groups, and of cyanobacterial, phytoplankton
and ecohydrology
research communities. Website to be administered from University of Lodz,
in consultation with myself, University of Dundee.
Identification of principle participants of IHP CYANONET (Steering
Committee).
Workshop of IHP CYANONET Steering Committee to produce initial Situation
Assessment, to include: global occurrences of cyanobacterial populations
and toxins; impacts on water supplies and users; initial identification
and prioritization of needs for mitigation and control of cyanobacterial
bloom
and toxin control; initial recommendations to achieve longer-term
project objectives. To be held at the University of Dundee.
